The Batch Transfer application improves on the ticketing functionality used by the Batch Meter application, offering additional options for configuration. Batch Transfer allows you to handle batch sequences containing different products. The Batch Transfer application allows the batch to enter and leave the source that is being measured. By default, the default functionality includes monitoring of tanks and rate points, as well as host-calculated and remote-calculated meters.
The Batch Transfer application allows you to define how batch contents are distributed and ensures that no problems occur during the delivery. You and the Administrator have the capacity to define when a batch should be started, stopped, or split. Alarm and Event messages associated with the volume and pressure information indicate whether or not there are any problems.
Note: Components on the control displays are enabled or disabled based on the current active mode's privileges. This is configured through the records' controllable privileges in DistribuSyS. If you do not have permission to control the record, the following message will appear on your control displays: Active mode prohibits control from this system. Talk to your Administrator for more information.
