Upload a Flow Network model from a SimConstruct workspace into the RealTime database (RTDB), but do not refresh the Flow Network model in the SimConstruct workspace using the simx file.
Context:
-
.simx file may not exist.
-
SimConstruct workspace exists.
-
Pipeline specified in the .simx file is already defined in the SimConstruct workspace.
Outcome:
-
Tool will not check for the existence of a .simx file.
-
Tool will upload the specified Flow Network model using the definition available in the SimConstruct workspace (Unified Object Model [UOM]) into the RTDB.
Usage Example:
FnetExport -f "Line_20" -p "Workspace_1" -e "es/control_room" [-d "dataset"] [-c "mocChangeset"]
Note: This example assumes the Workspace_1 project and the Line_20 pipeline exist and are already loaded.
In the usage example, the arguments will load Line_20 in the Workspace_1 SimConstruct project and export it to the es\control_room RealTime system.
Notes: The parameter [-d "dataset"] is optional. The argument is only used when the Flow Network is created in RealTime for the first time.
The parameter [-c "mocChangeset"] is optional but should be specified for distributed systems.
Equivalence in the SimConstruct User Interface:
Executing the command line string corresponds to completing the following actions in SimConstruct:
-
Select the Workspace_1 Workspace.

-
Select the Line_20 pipeline.

-
Click UPDATE DATABASE.
