This table defines the fields on the Config tab and their corresponding Batch Tracking Compiler attributes.

BTC Attributes

Config tab, Advanced Database Editor (ADE) pipe_segment Row Edit

Description

PIPE

Pipe Segment

The pipe name.

GROUP

Group

The group name. For more information about groups, see Configure the Batch Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) tab of the Node record.

DATASET

Dataset

Dataset defined by the pipeline record. This typically is not defined by a BTC attribute.

SECT

Section

A logical grouping of pipe segments.

UNITPROF

Input Unit Profile

The unit profile that the segment uses for display units and conversions.

PRIDISPLAY

Priority Display

The easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) display name that can be accessed from the Alarm Summary when this point generates an alarm.

DEPTH

Depth

Enter the burial depth for the pipe segment.

PIPECAP

Capacity

Enter the dry capacity for the pipe segment.

PIPEOD

Pipeod

Enter the outside diameter for the pipe segment.

PIPEWT

Pipewt

Enter the wall thickness for the pipe segment.

PIPELN

Pipelen

Enter the length of the pipe segment.

BELV

Enable Before Elev. Pres. Alarm Limit

Before Elev. Pres. Alarm Limit

This checkbox enables the Before Elevation Pressure alarm.

The Before Elev. Pres. Alarm Limit is the alarm threshold. An alarm is generated if the gauged pressure drops to within this threshold of the Elevation Pressure.

For more information, see Pipe Segment record Batch Tracking Compiler (BTC) attributes.

BMOP

Enable Before MOP Alarm Limit

Before MOP Alarm Limit

This checkbox enables the Before Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) alarm.

The Before MOP Alarm Limit is the alarm threshold. An alarm is generated if the gauged pressure rises to within this threshold of the Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP).

For more information, see Pipe Segment record Batch Tracking Compiler (BTC) attributes.

DISMAXPRESCHK

Disable Max Pressure Ceiling

Select to disable the maximum pressure ceiling in the product group correction library (typically 1,500 PSI) when calculating correction factors for the pipe segment.

SLIPFACTOR

Segment Slip Factor for Anomalies

The slip factor of the pipe segment.

The specified value will only be used by an anomaly passing through this segment if the anomaly has the Use Segment Slip Factor option enabled. The Use Segment Slip Factor option is enabled by default for automatically created anomalies, unless the Anomaly Type is configured to use different defaults.

Note: This attribute is not classified as a configuration field. Therefore, it can be changed without going through the Management of Change (MoC) workflow. For customers wishing to provide a custom formula to calculate a slip factor, they can do so using an external application that updates the RealTime value directly on the segment or on specific anomalies.
