Work with Product Molecular Composition

The Product Molecular Composition (moleper) table allows you to configure products that are a mixture of different compounds. Using the moleper table, you can define the ratio of compounds used within the product solution. This information is then used later by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Reference Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Database (NIST REFPROP) correction library for highly volatile liquids to calculate product correction values.

Once a Product Molecular Composition (moleper) record has been created, it can be associated with any product type record through the prodtype Row Edit dialog. Moleper records are only used when they are associated with a product type record that is used in an active batch tracking pipeline, so configuring a moleper record by itself will not impact an operational AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids system.
