Work with the Plmvoldevice table

The Plmvoldevice table is used by the Pipeline Monitor (PLM) application to record information about the various devices.

To access the plmvoldevice Table Edit window

1. In the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) window, select the plus icon (+) next to the Pipeline Monitor table to display all of the individual plm records associated with the table.

   

2. Select the plus icon (+) next to the associated Pipeline Monitor record row.

   The plmvoldevice table associated with that plm record appears.

3. Double click the Table icon next to the plmvoldevice table.

   The plmvoldevice Table Edit appears.

To create a New Record

4. To create a new record in this table, select Functions from the menu and then select Create New Volume Device.

   The Create Volume Device pop-up appears.

   

5. In the Device Type selection dropdown, select one of the following:

   • Meter

   • Linefill

   • Tank

6. Select Create.

   The plmvoldevice Row Edit dialog can then be used to configure the remainder of settings for the record. For more information, see Access the Plmvoldevice record.
