Pressures on this profile are expressed as an elevation equivalent indicated by the profile Y-axis. This will usually be in feet (English measurement) or meters (metric measurement). The following plots are on this profile:
-
Elevation
Configured elevation.
-
Maximum Operating Head
The Adjusted Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) converted to an elevation equivalent. Sum of the configured maximum allowed casing pressure, converted to an elevation equivalent, and Elevation.
-
Hydraulic Head
Adjusted pressure, converted to an elevation equivalent. Sum of the Gauged Pressure, converted to an elevation equivalent, and Elevation.
-
Temperature
Predicted temperature of the fluid in the pipe.
-
Vapor Pressure
The head pressure that the product vaporizes at, that is, if the head pressure is below the vapor pressure, the product in the pipeline may be a vapor.
