Change the status of the Product Transfer records from the Station display

Product Transfer Checking is primarily controlled through a station display, which is developed and configured by your organization. In this example, you are able to change the status of the status and multistate points on the Status and Multistate Control windows, respectively. Your setup may differ.

To change the status of the Product Transfer Checking records from the station display

Note: Your Product Transfer Checking setup may differ. This is an example only.

1. From the Navigation Menu, expand the Tools menu.

2. Select Model Select.

3. Select your station display.

   The station display will appear.

4. Double-click on the valve icon to open the Control window.

   

   The Control window will appear.

   

5. Open or Close the desired connection.

   If the product is represented by a multistate record, there may be other options available for selection, but these options have to be configured by your Administrator.

6. Select Submit.

At this point the connection will either Open or Close, depending on what command was issued. See Understand and respond to a Command Violation for more information about what happens when two incompatible products are attempted to be mixed.
