Understand the Batch Transfer plugin

Each Batch Transfer plugin must be associated with a RealTime database (RTDB) enumeration for it to be used by the Batch Transfer application. Each plugin should be associated with a single enumeration element in either the RealTime enumeration enum_batchXferSource for data source plugins, or the RealTime enumeration enum_batchXferRemSched for remote ticketing plugins.

This link is defined in the "LMS" > "BatchXfer" > "BatchDataHandlerAssemblies" section of the LMS.RealTime.Json file for data source plugins, and the "LMS" > "BatchXfer" > "RemoteTicketingAssemblies" section for remote ticketing plugins.

The structure of both the data source plugins section and the remote ticketing section is:

The RealTimeEnumerationName tag should meet the following requirements:

• It should match the name of the enumeration that is having its plug-in defined.

• It should match the name used for the enumeration element defined RTDB schema definition file for the enum_batchXferSource or enum_batchXferRemoSched enumerations.

• The AssemblyName tag should match the name of the assembly located within the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\Bin folder.

• The ObjectName tag should be the fully qualified name of the object inside the defined assembly (including namespace).
