AVEVA Enterprise SCADA detects leaks in a pipeline using the Pipeline Monitoring (PLM) application. PLM monitors meters and tank flows into and out of the pipeline, as well as changes in pipeline linepack.
Pressure Monitoring (Pressmon) is used by the Leak Detection application to monitor information about the volumetric variance within each region where pressure is being monitored.
