For more information, see Configuring the Roof Tab on the Tank Record.
If the tank roof is not a floating type, the Correct for Roof field is not selected, and the rest of this process is skipped. Otherwise, select the Correct for Roof field, and proceed with the following steps:
-
If the volume values in the strapping table have the roof weight accounted for:
-
The Use Roof Weight checkbox is cleared.
-
Set the Strapping Table Density field to the density at which the strapping table was measured (this is also known as the reference density).
-
Set the Gravity Correction Factor field. This is the volume correction per unit of density.
-
-
If the roof weight is not accounted for in the strapping table:
-
The Use Roof Weight checkbox is selected.
-
The Roof Weight field is configured.
-
-
If the snow load is to be corrected for:
-
The Use Snow Load checkbox is selected
-
The Correction Method is configured as follows:
-
If method is Snow weight, the Snow Weight field can be initialized if known.
-
If method is Snow level, the Snow Level field can be initialized if known.
