Message

Description

<PLM Name>: PLM not calculating: <PLM Description>.

An alarm indicating that the PLM has stopped calculating due to reasons such as an outage or an invalid plmvoldevice reading.

<PLM Name>: PLM not calculating - instrument failure: <PLM Description> - Devices in instrument fail: <List of device names in instrument failure>.

An alarm indicating that the PLM has stopped calculating due to the underlying tank experiencing an instrument failure.

<PLM Name> PLM resumed calculations <PLM Description>.

PLM has resumed calculating (providing the record is not inhibited and is able to calculate).

Stale record. No other alarms will be issued.

PLM record is stale when not fresh or not previously under a state alarm.

Record no longer prevented from alarming.

PLM record is no longer stale and can now generate alarms and events.

PLM - <PLM state> - Flow below threshold of <flow min>.

PLM state is SUSPENDED because of a low flow condition.

PLM at low flow.

PLM is at a low flow rate.

PLM came out of low flow.

PLM has come out of the low flow condition.

PLM - <PLM state> - Slack condition.

PLM state is SUSPENDED because of a slack condition.

PLM at slack.

PLM is at slack when the slack value of the PLM is true.

Trigger <Trigger Number> Activation Trigger path is invalid.

Trigger activation event tried to generate but the path was empty/invalid.

Trigger <Trigger Number> Deactivation Trigger path is invalid.

Trigger deactivation hold event tried to generate but the path was empty/invalid.

Trigger <Trigger Index> (<Trigger Name>) activation trigger event detected.

Trigger activation event trigger by a value-based or state-based value.

Trigger <Trigger Index> (<Trigger Name>) deactivation hold event detected.

Trigger deactivation event trigger by a value- based or state-based value.

PLM reset for the entire record.

The PLM reset button was clicked on the PLM record and reset the entire record.

PLM reset for the pipeline.

The PLM reset pipeline button was clicked on the PLM record and reset the entire pipeline.

PLM reset for all alarms.

The PLM reset alarm button was clicked on the PLM record and reset all alarms for PLM.

PLM ‘<PLM Name>’ automatically inhibited.

The PLM has been automatically inhibited based on a state change for a configured or multistate status. The PLM will no longer process.

PLM ‘<PLM Name>’ automatically enabled.

The PLM has been automatically enabled based on a state change for a configured or multistate status. The PLM will continue to process.

PLM inhibited.

PLM is now inhibited (if it was not previously inhibited when checking for it).

PLM enabled.

PLM is enabled.

PLM <PLM Name> ignoring reading of <PLM volume reading> from volume device <plmvoldevice Name> which exceeded <plmvoldevice limit> (Low limit check).

Ignoring reading of PLM when it exceeds the lower constraint set by the plmvoldevice.

PLM <PLM Name> ignoring reading of <PLM volume reading> from volume device <plmvoldevice Name> which exceeded <plmvoldevice limit> (High limit check).

Ignoring reading of PLM when it exceeds the higher constraint set by the plmvoldevice.

Recovering from an outage. The <Term period> term <Term time unit> data will remain as 0 from <Term time unit> <Beginning zero time> to <End zero time>.

PLM recovering from outage where the data remains as 0 because Do Not Backfill Term Data is enabled.

Recovering from an outage. The <Term period> term <Term time. unit> data will be backfilled with an average value from <Term time unit> <Beginning zero time> to <End zero time>.

PLM recovering from an outage where the data is backfilled with an average value because Do Not Backfill Term Data is disabled.

Period <Term period> <Term unit> cleared since deadband check has succeeded.

When the deadband check succeeds, it clears the period of the PLM’s pipeline.

PLM reset for the <Term period> term arrays.

The Reset <Term Period> button is clicked in the PLM display (term periods include the following: Reset Short, Reset Long, Reset Extender). This resets the selected term array.

PLM reset for all filters.

This message appears after clicking the Reset filters button in the PLM display. This button resets all filters for the PLM.

<Database Name>.<Record Name>.<Field Name> belonging to plm ‘<PLM Name>’ has been modified from ‘<Initial Field>’ to ‘<New Field>’.

PLM has been modified and displays the new field that was adjusted as well as the old one.

plmvoldevice <plmvoldevice Name> belonging to plm ‘<PLM Name>’ has been deleted.

PLM voldevice has been deleted from the PLM record.

<PLM Term period> Changed from steady state to transient state. Over/short limits adjusted.

Event generated when the PLM record changes from a steady to transient state.

<PLM Term period> Changed from transient state to steady state. Over/short limits returned to normal.

Event generated when the PLM record changes from a transient to steady state.

PLM - <Alarm severity number> <Alarm severity Name>.

PLM message used to show severity details for the message.

PLM - <Alarm severity number> <Alarm severity Name> - <Period Time> <Period Time Measurement Unit> (<Deviation>), <Period Time> <Period Time Measurement Unit> (<Deviation>), … -

Note: A variation of this alarm will add the word "Voting" before <Period Time> for terms that are configured to use Voting as the Type of Limit. In this case <Deviation> will be replaced by <Bad Deviation Count>.

PLM message used as a prefix to build an alarm message beginning with the severity details of the message builder.

Meter <PLM name> has an invalid reading for this PLM record.

The meter has an invalid reading when PLM is outside of negative tolerance or exceeds the maximum output.
