View and reset VFC Periodic Aggregation counters from the VFC Periodic Aggregation display

This Virtual Flow Computer (VFC) Periodic Aggregation display shows the VFC Periodic Aggregation current and previous values (Hourly, Daily, Monthly, Yearly, Total) for Indicated Volume (IV), Gross Standard Volume (GSV), and mass. For this information to be available, Periodic Aggregation should be enabled on the VFC.

Note: The RealTime and Historical "mass" fields are only populated for products of type Ethylene. Therefore, aggregations for the mass field are expected to show zero for non-Ethylene products.

The Hourly, Daily, Monthly, and Yearly fields are automatically reset at the top of each period. When a reset occurs, the previous value is updated to hold the current value, and then the current value is set to zero.

The Total row keeps track of values across period boundaries. Total values are not automatically reset.

Note: The VFC reset also resets the aggregation blocks of child accumulators.

On each reset (automatic or manual), the aggregated values are sent to the Historical database.

For more information on Historical tables used to persist Periodic Aggregations for VFCs, see Understand data sent to Historical within the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Administrator Guide documentation.
