Pumps with a side-stream delivery

Commonly, a pump may deliver to multiple destinations. No configuration change needs to occur to the pumps. The additional delivery devices simply need to be added to the model.
The example below illustrates two pumps that could potentially deliver product to three tanks. Due to this configuration, the pumps will only be considered blocked when all three valves are closed. If any valves are open, a delivery device will be available, and neither pump will be considered blocked. Logically, this could be reduced to an AND statement: if Valve 1 and Valve 2 and Valve 3 are closed, pumps are blocked.
