AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids

Locate the Historical Tanking data information

Historical snapshot data from the Tanking application is stored in the Historical AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids database (TankInventory table).

The TankCounter table stores Historical tank counter data. The Tanking application creates tankCounter records at the top of the day and whenever product changes in a tank.

The tankCounter data is configured on a Top of Day (TOD) basis. However, in order to account for different time zones, you can configure the TOD. If an alternate TOD is not configured for the tank’s group, the system-wide TOD provided by the Network Management Console (NMC) is used. If a system-wide TOD has not been defined, the TOD will default to midnight. For information about how to change the system-wide TOD, refer to the Tools Administrator documentation.

The Tanking application takes tank snapshots automatically, as described in Understand tank inventory. You can also schedule snapshots through the Job Scheduler (JSH).
