There are validation checks that may prevent a Batch Swap from being initiated. The conditions that will prevent a Batch Swap include, but are not limited to the following:
-
The Batch Transfer is currently in the process of auto starting another pending ticket.
-
The Batch Transfer Batch Switch on Manual Ticket Start is configured and the Batch Transfer is currently waiting for a field device reset.
-
The Batch Transfer is currently executing an Auto Switch.
-
The Batch Transfer is currently executing a Switch on Volume.
-
The Batch Transfer is currently INHIBITED.
-
The Batch Transfer state is anything other than NORMAL.
-
The Pending Ticket has a Scheduled GSV (Gross Standard Volume) of zero or a negative integer.
-
The Pending Ticket does not have a valid Product Type.
-
The Pending Ticket is no longer in a PENDING state.
-
A maintenance batch is involved in the swap operation. This could happen in one of the following scenarios:
-
The pending batch is a maintenance batch, and the active batch is normal.
-
The pending batch is normal, and the active batch is a maintenance batch.
-
The pending batch is a maintenance batch, and the active batch is a maintenance batch.
-
Pending normal batch and an active maintenance batch.
-
Pending maintenance batch and an active maintenance batch.
-
-
The active batch was originally a MAINTENANCE batch, and then it was changed to NORMAL.
Note: If any of the validation checks fail, the Batch Swap will not be initiated and a message informing you of the details displays.
