Using the Level to Volume tab, you can select the strap type (Strap Selection), the Strapping Fraction in use, and whether the strapping table is entered in Levels or Increments.

It is also possible to edit the Strapping table by changing, adding, or deleting rows.

If the current Strapping table is changed in any way (for example, selecting a new strapping table or editing the current one), the following values are checked to ensure that they do not exceed the greatest Tank Level Strap value:

  • On the Tank Configuration tab:

    • Maximum Physical Level

    • Maximum Safe Level

    • Minimum Safe Level

  • On the Alarming tab:

    • HighHigh (HiHi) Alarm Limit

    • High (Hi) Alarm Limit

    • Normal Fill Alarm Limit

    • Normal Empty Alarm Limit

    • Low (Lo) Alarm Limit

    • LowLow (LoLo) Alarm Limit

    • User High (Hi) Alarm Limit

    • User Low (Lo) Alarm Limit

In the event that your edits result in a level or alarm limit configuration that exceeds the greatest Tank Level Strap entry, an alarm and event will be generated and displayed in the Alarm and Event Summaries to indicate that the configuration is invalid.

The usage of the Level to Volume tab is contingent on whether the Legacy Strap, Extended Strap, or a Custom Level to Volume conversion method is selected from the Level To Volume Conversion Method dropdown list.
