A time limit (in minutes) is defined for the tank. If the calculated Time to Empty/Fill Alarm passes this configured time limit, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA generates a Time to Empty/Fill Alarm. These alarm limits can be entered from Advanced Database Editor (ADE) dialogs. The estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) shown for this field are the times at which the level will reach either the actual volume-to-fill or volume to pump, not the time limit before. They are shown as both the times of day and the seconds from the current time. To avoid the need for a deadband as with level alarms, the flow rate must be in the same direction for at least two flow rate calculations for AVEVA Enterprise SCADA to generate an alarm.
