The Inhibits tab is used to inhibit the logging of information and alarming associated with a batch transfer. By inhibiting the batch transfer, you are electing not to record information or receive alarms about your chosen pathway. It is possible to inhibit on a state-specific basis.

To inhibit alarms and events associated with the batch transfer

  1. Open the batchXfer record. For more information on opening a batchXfer record, see Open a BatchXfer record.

The batchXfer Row Edit dialog appears.

  2. Select the Inhibits tab.

  5. Click (...) to select the status or multistate point that identifies whether the batchXfer record is inhibited or enabled.

The Path Selector dialog appears. Until a table and record are selected, you will not be able to click Accept.

  6. In the Inhibit States field, enter one or more integers separated by commas. Each integer represents a status or multistate value that, if present, designates the batchXfer record as inhibited.

  9. To inhibit all alarms, select the Inhibit All Alarm checkbox. This setting overrides all alarm settings within the batchXfer Row Edit dialog.

Note: This setting does not apply for invalid configurations that generate persistent alarms.
