Extend tank level to volume conversion

The baseline Tanking application provides two options to convert levels to volumes and vice versa, namely: Legacy Strapping and Extended Strapping. For scenarios where these methods are not practical, AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids provides you with an extension point to provide your own level-to-volume conversion plugin. For example, instead of using a strapping table to lookup level and volume values, you can provide a formula that calculates these values based on the geometry of the tank.

How to access the Software Development Kit (SDK)

An example of a level and volume plugin can be found in the Software Development Kit (SDK).

Example code is included within the developer environment that is created when you run the Initialize-DevEnvironment.ps1 script within C:\Program Files\AVEVA\DNA\Tools\scripts.

For example: \Initialize-DevEnvironment.ps1 -Path C:\dev -Name RealTime.
