The Product Compatibility (prodcompat) Row Edit exists to define the many product compatibility rules surrounding the product types defined by the Product Type (prodtype) Table.

Product Compatibility (prodcompat) records, once created, cannot be edited directly from the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) window. To edit a prodcompat record, open the record from the prodcompat Table Edit.

To access the Product Compatibility (prodcompat) Row Edit

  1. In the ADE window, select the plus icon (+) next to the Product Group table to display all of the individual prodtype records associated with the table.

  2. Select the plus icon (+) next to the associated Product Type record row.

The Product Type table associated with the Product Group record appears.

  3. Select the plus icon (+) that may appear on the Product Type record row.

The associated Product Compatibility table appears. If there are associated child records, there will be a plus icon next to the prodcompat table.
