Define Building Applications Parameters

Building Applications parameters are stored in a design database under an Application Data World (APPLDW) element. If the APPLDW element does not exist, the parameter values are read from files which are stored in the project defaults directory when the application is started. Refer to Parameter Files for further information.
The Building Applications Settings window is used to define parameters and save them to a database. When the parameters are saved, an APPLDW element is created by default.
Note:
Take care to store the APPLDW element in a database that is available to all users
but restricted to administrators for write access.
On the Building tab, in the Settings group, select Parameters to display the Building Application Settings window.
