Export hull model elements to an OCX file

Use the OCX Export window to select a source element and export the element data to an OCX file.

On the Hull Design tab, in the Tools group, select Export and select OCX from the dropdown menu to display the OCX Export window.

Select destination

Displays the currently selected export source element. Select a valid GPSET, ZONE, FEMZON or UPANEL element.

CE

Sets the Current Element (CE) as the export source.

Select arrangement

Displays the currently selected arrangement export source element. Select a valid SPMSA element.

CE

Sets the Current Element (CE) as the arrangement export source.

Output

Displays the location of the export file.

Browse

Displays the Select File window which allows you to set the file name and location of the export file.

OCX version

Displays a dropdown list of available OCX versions for selection.

Design view: Partition by structure type

Exports the design view with partitioning based on structure type.

Design view: No partition

Exports the design view without partitioning.

Connection/Configuration/Penetration

Includes connection, configuration, and penetration data in the export.

For name unset, use dbref

Uses the database reference when a name is not set.

Include ReferenceSurfaces

Includes reference surfaces in the export.

Export Step files

Exports STEP files as part of the process.
