Set Result to Ancillary

Set a rule's result to an ancillary that the system uses when the rule completes successfully.

This option is only available when the RLSET PURP is ANSP, ANSC, or ANSH. For all other rule set purposes, the menu option instead appears as Set result to Expression. See Set Result to an Expression for more information.

Set Result to an Ancillary

1. In the Rule Manager window, under Logical Expressions, right click inside a row where the result can be defined.

   The following menu appears:

   

2. Select Set Result to Ancillary.

   The Set Ancillary in the result window opens:

   

   To refine the list, select inside the first box of the Name column and enter any part of the ancillary name:

   

3. (Optional) To view details for an ancillary, enable the Show Plot File checkbox and select an ancillary.

   The Supports Standard for that ancillary (in this example, BT03) opens in a separate window:

   

4. Once you have selected the desired ancillary, select Apply.

   The ancillary is set as the result and appears in the Result column of the selected row.
