Connection

Connections represent the relationship between two hull elements in the model that are physically connected or touching.

The application stores connections as elements in a secondary hierarchy, separate from the main design hierarchy. The stored Information for a connection includes both connected elements and the connection path.

Connections are used to create trace and alignment (GSD) markings in the PartGeneration processing. In the future, connections will be used as the base for weld management.
