Swept

Creates a swept surface that follows a profile curve and a path curve. This is commonly used to model curved ship hull surfaces.

Create a swept surface

1. On the Common Reference tab, in the Create group, select Surface, then select Swept from the dropdown list.

2. Select the profile curve:

   

3. Select the path curve:

   

4. Press Enter.

   The application creates the new surface and stores it as a SRFSUR element.

   

   You can modify the surface at any time using the Properties window. See Properties for more information.
