Organize Rules for Required Results in Model (RBS Mode)

When a support frame is created using Rule Based Supports (RBS) Mode in Model, the application evaluates the rules for the frame type and each compref. If a rule returns an ancillary result, the application validates that result against the model conditions for the compref. If the validation passes, the required ancillary is created.

Rules for supports use specific purposed attributes:

Rules for piping ancillaries use purpose ANSP.

Rules for cable tray ancillaries use purpose ANSC.

Rules for HVAC ancillaries use purpose ANSH.

Rules of the appropriate purpose are evaluated in order, and the first rule that returns a result determines the ancillary to be used. For cable tray and HVAC ancillaries, no further filtering is performed.
For piping ancillaries, the project may want to restrict selection to a specific rule set, then evaluate only those rules in that rule set. Rules for rule sets (RRLS) support this by selecting which rule set applies. For example, separate rule sets may be required for different design areas, pipe specifications, or systems.
When evaluating piping ancillary rules, the application first evaluates RRLS rules against the compref. If a rule set result is found, the rules within that rule set are evaluated. If no rule set result is found, the application evaluates all rules for piping ancillaries until a result is obtained.
