Convert to Polyface

Converts a planar, corrugated, or planar parametric surface into a polyface (PFACE) surface.

Converting a surface to polyface allows you to manipulate the shape of the surface and add additional faces as needed. For more information, see Polyface.

A polyface surface can also be divided using the Divide function, and the resulting faces can be repositioned using grips to form the desired polyface geometry.

Convert a surface to polyface

1. On the Common Reference tab, in the Modify Surface group, select Convert to Polyface.

2. Select the planar, corrugated, or planar parametric surface you wish to convert.

3. Press Enter.

   The surface is converted to a polyface (PFACE) surface.
