Create the panel by Main Hull and by Grid Plane

Prerequisite

• Display the main Hull Design.

You can create a panel location defined by another model, in this case the main Hull Design.

1. On the Hull Design tab in the Create group, select Panel to display the grids and the prompt in 3D View.

   

2. Enter a grid name, for example, FR50.

3. Press Enter.

4. Press the Down Arrow.

5. Select Accept.

   

6. Select the Main Hull.

   

7. Press the Down Arrow.

8. Select Grid Plane.

9. Press the Down Arrow.

10. Select Z.

    

11. Enter LP40.

12. Press Enter.

13. Press the Down Arrow.

14. Select Accept to display the limits on the panel.

    

15. Select the panel part you want to keep, in this example the green part.

    The application creates a new UPANEL including the limits.
