Import P&ID items into Generative Design AI

Select Import from P&ID in the Generative Design AI window to open the P&ID Integrator Build. This form enables you to import and work with P&ID data within the model.

The Build Form identifies P&ID items that have not yet been built in E3D and uses Generative Design AI routing to locate and create missing pipes. It provides a structured, step-by-step process for loading, reviewing, and validating data.

The form integrates with the piping discipline and presents information in a detailed grid layout, enabling you to review item status at a glance. When the data is validated, select Build with GenDAI to import it into Generative Design AI. For more information, see Integrator Build.

The GenDAI window displays rows of data that serve as start and end positions.

Note:
The functionality supports only From and To references that exists in the model.
Fields such as Name, From, To, and Specification are imported directly without additional processing.
