Create compensation at corner of panel

Prerequisite

• Create a panel, for example, Create panel defining limits by stiffener and by plane.

You can create a symmetrical shaped compensation at the corner of a panel.

1. On the Production Design tab in the Create group, select Comp to display the Compensation window.

   

2. Select the at Corner checkbox.

3. Enter a Size value in mm, for example, 50.

4. Enter a Length value in mm, for example, 1000.

5. Select Create to display a prompt in the 3D View.

6. Select a panel to display a new prompt.

   

7. Select the boundary limit to display the corner points allocated to the selected boundary limit.

   

8. Select one of the corner points.

   The application creates the compensation on the selected boundary limit. If you select Comp on the Production Design tab in the Visibility group, the compensation symbol becomes visible in the 3D View.

   

   Additionally, the application creates an IEDGE1 as part of the panel in the Model Explorer.
