Endcut properties

Use the properties to add or modify the endcut and bevel-related properties under the Geometry section of the Properties window.
By default, the Endcut value is set to unset.

The following table defines all the endcut properties.

Endcut |
Defines the endcut properties for the selected element. |

Cutting plane type |
Specifies the type of endcut. By default, the value is Undefined.
|

Designation |
Specifies the designation value. |
|
Functional type |
Specifies the functional classification. By default, the value is Undefined. |
|
Spacing type |
Specifies the spacing definition. By default, the value is Undefined.
|
|
Size of spacing |
Specifies the spacing size in mm. |
When you define an Endcut, the following properties become available. For more information, see Define endcut properties.
By default, the following properties are set to these values:

Bevel on Web is set to unset

Bevel on Flange is set to unset

Excess is set to 0mm
The following table defines all the bevel properties.
Bevel on Web
Specifies the bevel code for the web.
Bevel on Flange
Specifies the bevel code for the flange.
Excess
Specifies the excess area defined for an element.
When you define a Bevel Code, additional properties—similar to Endcut—become available. For more information, see Define bevel code.
The following table defines all the additional bevel properties:

E-measure |
Specifies the project unit of measurement in mm.

Side |
Specifies the side.
|

Variant |
Displays the variants applicable to the selected bevel code. By default, the value is V0.
