Exports and imports data to and from a Transfer Set and defines the settings for data transfer. For detailed instructions on Design Reuse export and import, see Export design data from a project and Import design data to a project.

Exports design data from the project and saves it in a Transfer Set.

Export options

Add external selection		Adds the selected items from other locations (the Model Explorer, Draw Explorer, 3D View, or search result) to the export list.
Get referred items		Opens the Referred items dialog, where you can add the referenced items of the selected item to the export list.
Remove		Removes the selected item from the export list.
Export		Executes the export of the selected list items.
Display export info		Displays the export log. Only available after an export.
Additional options in the shortcut menu:
Set to current element		Sets the selected item in export list to current element in the Model Explorer or Draw Explorer.
Select all		Selects all items in the export list.

Export list columns

Name	Displays the element name.
Type	Displays the element type.
Status	Displays the element's export status. This column is populated after selecting Export.
Message	Displays any error messages or information associated with the export outcome.

Imports design data to the project from a Transfer Set.

Import Options

Open		Opens the Select transfer Set window where you can select the Transfer Set to import.
Transfer Set Properties		Opens the Transfer Set Properties window to view the Transfer Set properties set during export:
Check all items in list		Selects all items in the import list.
Uncheck all items in list		Removes the selection of all items in the import list.
Import		Imports the selected items to the project.
Display log		Displays the result log file. Only available after import.

Import list columns

Name	Displays the element name.
Type	Displays the element type.
Status	Displays the element's import status. This column is populated after selecting Import.
Message	Displays any error messages or information associated with the import outcome.
Topology Order	Displays the order in which items are imported.

General Settings	Shows the general settings for Design Reuse.
Local Settings	Shows the local settings for the graphical user interface for Design Reuse.

Settings Options

Reload		Reloads the general settings and item settings from file.
Display		Displays the items settings.
Reset		Reverses all local settings changes made since startup.

Local Settings options

DefaultTransfersetNamePrefix

Defines the default prefix of the Transfer Set name.

GeneralHelpVisible

Defines the general help text visibility.

True: Shows help text.

False: Hides help text.

LocalHelpVisible

Defines the local help text visibility.

True: Shows help text.

False: Hides help text.
