Use Guide Diagram for Taps to define tap calculation settings. It defines the marking and other configuration of taps. The system uses these settings to control how taps are generated.

Guide Diagram
Displays a visual representation of how you can configure the marking of taps on plates. The diagram dynamically reflects the chosen parameters.
Settings
Enable Marking
Select to enable the creation of taps markings.
If Enabled is selected, a marking will be created during Part Generation processing. The marking
is placed at the origin boundary of the plate which is modifies due to added tap.
If Enabled is not selected, then no marking is created.
Middle mode
It defines the orientation of taps in the middle section of the tap, either aligned parallel to the contour or perpendicular to the welding direction.
|
Parallel to contour |
Middle segment is parallel to contour. |
|
Perpendicular to welding |
Middle segment is perpendicular to welding. |
End Mode
It defines the orientation of taps at the ends or transitions, either aligned parallel to the welding direction or perpendicular to the contour.
|
Perpendicular to contour |
End segment is perpendicular to contour. |
|
Parallel to welding |
End segment is parallel to welding. |
