Additional Rules not Controlled by Application Defaults

You can create additional lines of sub logic in a rule set in Rule Manager that operate independently of the application defaults. Use these rules to restrict how an ancillary is selected to meet project-specific requirements. The logic can use standard properties or user-defined properties created in Property Manager.

For example, add a rule based on the pipe system (level +++4) or on a branch duty defined in Property Manager (level ++++5):

When you run Rule Checker again, the additional rules appear in the table. Because they are not linked to any App Defaults, they have the message: Note: Additional rule not controlled by App Defaults data.
