Allowance of group numberings for file import in GenDAI (CSV format)

CSV files supports an optional Group column that enables you to assign branches and numbers to groups.

Groups for branch data in model

To import a csv file:

1. In the Start and End Positions view select Import from file.

   

   For more information, see Importing from CSV file.

   The result is displayed in the AI Setup window, and the branches for each group displays in the 3D view.

   

   

Group mapping exceptions in import

If an imported row includes a group number, it retains that value in GenDAI. If the group number does not match an existing group, the row is assigned to group 1.

For example, if imported rows have a group value of 3 and no rows exist in GenDAI, all rows are assigned to group 1.
