Create bevel and excess on seams

Use the Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window to assign bevel geometry and excess values to seams.

To create seam bevel and excess

1. In the Production Design, on the Create tab, select Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window.

   Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window is displayed. For more information, see Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window.

2. In the Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window, select Bevel to define bevel corresponding values.

3. To define bevel values, enter a bevel code or select the search icon to select a bevel in Side A and Side B.

   

   Use the link control to apply the same bevel to both sides, or define different bevels for Side A and Side B.

4. To define excess values, select the Excess checkbox.

   For Side A Excess and Side B Excess, specify the Excess Type and Excess Value.

5. Select Create.
