Create a symmetrical compensation

Prerequisite

• Create a panel, for example, Create panel defining limits by stiffener and by plane.

You can create a symmetrical shaped compensation aong the limit of a panel.

1. On the Production Design tab, in the Create group, select Comp to display the Compensation window.

   

2. Select the Symmetrical checkbox.

3. Enter a Size value in mm, for example, 50.

4. Select Create to display a prompt in the 3D View.

   

5. Select the panel in the 3D View.

   

6. Select the boundary limit.

   The application creates the compensation on the selected boundary of the limit. If you select Comp on the Production Design tab in the Visibility group, the compensation symbol becomes visible in the 3D View.

   

   Additionally, the application creates an IEDGE1 as part of the panel in the Model Explorer.
