Limit panel by limit of another panel

Limit a panel using the limit of another panel on the same plane or surface. You can apply this limit to either a new or an existing panel, as described in the following procedure.
The limited panel is topologically referenced by DMODRF, so the panel automatically reflects any changes to the source limit.
Prerequisites

An existing panel in the same location as the target panel.
Limit panel by limit of another panel

On the Hull Design tab, in the Limits group, select Add.

Select the panel to limit in the 3D view.
The prompt Select limiting elements or <Accept> appears.

Select the edge of the existing panel to use as a limit.

Review the annotated limit:

Press Enter to accept.
The application creates the panel.

The limit appears in the Properties grid:

To offset the placement of the limit, enter a value in the Offset field. See Adjustments on Limits in Hull Design for more information.
