Define notch bevels

A notch bevel is a manufacturing preparation applied to the edges of a notch using a bevel code for welding.

You can define Notch Bevels using the properties grid.

On the Production Design tab, in the Visibility group, select Bevel to show Bevel on the notches.

Select the Hole definition from Model Explorer or 3D Canvas (for example, DNOTCH1). DNOTCH defines the notch properties, while INOTCH represents the placed instances on the panel.
The application displays the properties of the selected notch definition.

In the Property Grid, Bevel Code is Unset.

Select the type of Bevel Code by selecting the
icon .
Bevel Code Selection window opens. For more information, refer to Bevel Code Selection window.

Select the Bevel Code from the Bevel Code Selection window.

Select a code (for example Code 300).

Select Apply.
The application populates the Bevel Code window with the selected code number and the corresponding notch parameters.
The application uses the assigned bevel information as production data.

If the visibility for Bevel is enabled, the application displays the notch bevels on the Panel in 3D View.
