A label is a configurable identification text or marking that is applied to generated production parts. The application can recognize, trace, store, and assemble labelled parts correctly during manufacturing.

In Production Design, you can use labels to identify directions (1), part information (2), bevels (3), and excess material (4).

For labelling, the application supports parts as plates, brackets, and clips. You can control the label content through the configuration, including prefixes and suffixes, fixed text, and custom values. For more information, refer to Label Set in Production Design.
The application saves the label information into the MPLATE element.
The appearance of labels in the Model Inspector and on drawings is predefined. You cannot configure the appearance.
