Seam Bevel / Excess Creation window

It defines bevel geometry and excess values for the two sides of a seam and apply the defined settings to selected seams.

Bevel

Defines the bevel applied to each side of the seam.

Bevel checkbox

Enables or disables bevel definition.

Side A/ Side B

Specifies the bevel code for each side of the seam.

Search icon

Displays the bevel selection list to choose a valid bevel code.

Link control

Allows the same bevel to be applied to both sides.

If disabled, then each side can have a different bevel.

Side A Bevel Details / Side B Bevel Details

Displays information about the selected bevel.

Diagram

Displays a graphical representation of the bevel geometry, including angle Alpha, Beta, Nose Len A, Nose Len B, Gap, and radius values.

Parameters

Displays the properties of the selected bevel, including Type, Name, Alpha, Beta, Gap, Nose, and Nose Length A.

Note: These values are derived from the selected bevel and cannot be modified in this window. The application derives these values from the selected bevel code.

Excess

Defines additional material allowance for each side of the seam.

Side A Excess

Excess Type

Specifies the excess type. Selection depends on the excess standards defined in Paragon.

Excess Value

Specifies the excess amount for Side A.

Side B Excess

Excess Type

Specifies how the excess is applied for Side B.

Excess Value

Specifies the excess amount for Side B.
