Set Rotation for Symbol Template Text

Each individual text element on a symbol template can be defined to rotate with the symbol or to preserve the text orientation when the symbol is rotated. The rotation settings for individual text elements cannot be modified when the symbol is placed on the drawing canvas.

Use the Properties window to modify the TEXP properties. Refer to Properties for further information.

Rotation special handling mode

Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the rotation setting from the visual style.

Select None from the drop-down list to rotate the text with the symbol when the symbol is rotated.

Select From Template from the drop-down list to preserve the text orientation when the symbol is rotated.
