Limit a stiffener or seam by plane through grips

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have a surface with a stiffener or seam.

  1. Double click on the stiffener or seam to display its grips.

  2. Select the grip at the end you want to limit.

    The prompt specify end model or appears.

  3. Press the Down Arrow, then select Plane.

    The application prompts you to select a location for the plane along the Y axis.

    You can press the Down Arrow to display additional plane placement options.

  4. Select the location for stiffener's limit.

  5. Press Enter to accept the selection.

    The stiffener or seam is limited at the location the plane was set.

    The properties window shows end information for Limit end 1 and Limit end 2, which can be edited. For more information on how to use the Properties window, see Properties.
