Outer offset

Specifies the distance from the selected reference element to the outer edge of the doubling plate. This value defines the overall extent of the plate.

In the Outer offset box, enter a new value.

Inner offset

Specifies the distance from the selected reference element to the inner edge of the doubling plate and controls whether the plate extends inward or outward relative to that reference.

In the Inner offset box, enter a new value.. A positive value moves the inner boundary outward (away from the reference).

A negative value moves inner boundary moves inward (towards or into the reference, for example, into a hole).

Insert

Controls whether the doubling plate repairs missing material in the referenced element.

False

After doubling plate creation, Insert is set to False by default.

True

Repairs or replaces the missing material.

If you set Insert to True, the Outer offset is not available.

Closed

False

After doubling plate creation, Closed is set to False by default.
