Understand the Bevel function

Use the Bevel function to apply bevel information to plate contours, for example holes or notches.
When you select Bevel from the Create group in the Part Editor tab, the Common Interaction Engine (CIE) opens and prompts you to define the bevel parameters.
The bevel is then applied to the selected portion of the contour between the specified start and end positions.
When entering the function, a prompt is given to bevel code, start location and end location.
As an option an offset to the start and end location could be specified.

If APBN is used for data which is created in AVEVA Marine, Read/Write access for Design databases is required in the module definitions. Otherwise, access to the defined bevel standards is not possible.
Note: The information of the defined Bevel can be viewed in the Properties window after the contour is selected.
