Part feature inspection, editing and deletion using the 2D View

When you select Inspect or Inspect and Edit in the Part Manager window, the application displays the 2D view, which you can use to inspect or edit existing part features. For more details, see Parts Manager window.
The 2D View offers the grips functionality on existing features. For general information, refer to Grips in General Information for Marine.
Use grips to modify selected features directly in the 2D view. Select a part feature in the 2D view to display its grips, and then modify attributes such as location, angle, or length.

Move |
Moves the related feature. When you select the grip, it appears red. The Specify stretch point prompt appears and the X and Y coordinates to the pointer location.

Rotate |
Rotates the related feature. When you select the grip, it appears red. The Specify angle prompt appears and the X and Y coordinates to the pointer location.

Delete |
When you select a feature and select the Delete key, the application removes the feature. For more information, see Delete a hole. Alternatively, you can select a feature, enter delete, and press Enter:
