Create an Excess on a plate

Creates a new excess on a plate.

Prerequisites

A plate exists.

Procedure

To create an excess, follow these steps:

1. On the Part Editor tab, in the Create group, select Excess.

   The prompt Specify Excess Start location or Finish appears.

2. Open the options list.

3. Select Excess. (Select Offset Start or Offset End to specify their values optionally).

4. Enter the required excess amount value.

5. Select the excess start location and then select the excess end location.

   The system creates the excess and updates the plate.
