Understand the Excess function

An Excess adds additional material to a selected section of a plate. During creation, you can specify the excess amount and can define the start and end locations of the excess. You can also specify optional offset values for the start and end locations.

You can perform the following actions using excess:

• Create excess on a plate.

• Specify the start location and end location of the excess.

• Define the excess amount, offset start, and offset end.

• Edit excess properties in the properties grid.

• Delete one or more excess representations.

• Control excess visibility and selectability.
