Use of Rules Manager Engine

Use the Rule Manager system in AVEVA Unified Engineering to create rules as a series of logical expressions and store them in the catalog. You can access and run rules later to set attributes on elements or inform operations.

This functionality is only available in AVEVA E3D Design in AVEVA Unified Engineering.

Several AVEVA E3D Design applications support the Rule Manager, and you can extend and customize it for more purposes using the Programmable Macro Language (PML) interface. You can set up custom rules, and use the PML interface to run these rules.
