Create Bevel

Before you begin:

  1. Add the part to Part Manager using Manufacturing Explorer.

  2. Open the part in Part Editor.

  3. Create or select a hole.

Procedure

  1. On the Part Editor tab, in the Create group, select Bevel.

  2. In the 2D view of the part, move the pointer over the part to show the prompt.

  3. Select an edge of the hole in the 2D view.

    The application displays a preview of the bevel and the Specify Bevel start location or <Finish> prompt.

  4. Select Code and specify the required bevel code.

  5. Select Offset Start or Offset End to adjust the respective bevel position as per the requirement.

  6. Select Finish.

    Note: This procedure also works for notch bevels, if you select the appropriate feature instead of a hole.
